
What is the parent-child group?
The Parent-Child Circle is a circle designed to bring parents and children together to share and learn various aspects of African culture. This reunion allows families to spend time together and strengthen relationships.
This circle is also a means for the children of immigrants to become familiar with their parents' cultures.
It is also intended to eliminate or alleviate the information deficitrn that new parents and future parents can come across on their journey.
Our goals
• Promotion of African cultures.
• Enable children of immigrants to make connections with the different African social classes.
• Allow parents to share their experiences, their stories and their cultural experiences with their children.
• Allows more experienced parents to share their knowledge with prospective parents who need help or information.
Ouractivities
• Activities for children: dances, songs, games, stories, craft workshops, cooking workshops, hairdressing workshops…
• Activities for parents and children: songs, dance, sharing and exchange workshop (parents' responsibility)...
• Activities for parents and future or new parents: meetings and seminars for exchange
(Questions about birth, early childhood in general, administrative questions), sales platform, or exchange
Baby equipment or products for children of all kinds.
